What are we looking for?
Lead the day-to-day activities of Oracle Cloud Projects & Grants modules, including process design, implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews. Experience with Project Accounting, Project Billing, Project Costing, Grants, or similar module experience. Knowledge of integrations with other financial modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Revenue Management and Subscription Management. Ability to Configure Oracle Applications to meet client requirements and document application set-ups. Assist with design workshops and functional process workshops in all Projects/Grants areas.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into Oracle Finance Cloud solutions, specifically focusing on project accounting modules.
- Design and architect project accounting solutions within the Oracle Finance Cloud platform, considering best practices, industry standards, and client-specific needs.
- Lead project scoping and planning activities, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, and solution design documentation.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations on configuring, customizing, and extending Oracle Finance Cloud modules to meet project accounting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and project management, to ensure successful implementation and integration of project accounting solutions.
- Conduct system testing, identify and resolve issues, and support end-users during the testing and post-implementation phases.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users, enabling them to effectively utilize project accounting functionalities within the Oracle Finance Cloud system.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle Finance Cloud releases, enhancements, and industry trends, and proactively recommend process improvements and system optimizations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Required experience with the business processes in PPM including Sub-ledger Accounting and one other business flow, Order to Cash or Financials or Procure to Pay including sub-ledger applications configurations.
- Experience as a resource in the full lifecycle implementation of at least 3 Oracle Projects Cloud implementations and Supporting Oracle Cloud with hands-on configurations.
- Knowledge of financials, supply chain and manufacturing modules as to their impact on accounting transactions.
- Experience with functional Oracle Financials implementation.
- Ability to interact with all levels of client financial personnel.
- Prior experience with Oracle PPM Cloud as Lead Consultant.
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
- Current Oracle Cloud Certification is desired.
