Senior/Mid-weight PHP Developer

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking experienced Senior/Mid-weight PHP Developers with over 7 years of experience in
Object-Oriented (OO) programming, ideally within enterprise-grade applications. This role involves
setting up and building upon CMSs using our existing framework, with a specific focus on
WordPress. The ideal candidate will also possess strong knowledge of Linux OS and surrounding
technologies

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain enterprise-grade PHP applications.
• Set up and enhance CMS systems using our existing framework.
• Build and expand upon our current framework to meet evolving business needs.
• Ensure the security and performance of applications through proper configuration and
  optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews and testing.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in OO programming with PHP.
• Proven experience with enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience with other CMS platforms and frameworks.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
• Understanding of agile methodologies.
• Strong expertise in setting up and maintaining WordPress CMS.
• Proficient in Linux OS and associated technologies (e.g., SSL configuration, SSH
  connectivity, MySQL/MariaDB).
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
• experience).
